Stereo Camera
Several cameras operate inside the Submerged Unit (SU) to capture high-resolution images of fish swimming by. Fish farmers have full access to real-time streaming in Stingray Online.
Lights
Integrated LED lamps in different positions and with correct angles ensure bright pictures day and night. From the surface to 25 meters depth in the sea. Royal Blue light (450 nm) to improve the contrast between fish and sea lice.
Thruster
Stingray has developed its own unique thruster to give every unit a rotation capability (360°) to set compass heading and fine-tune directions remotely at all times.
Service Ports
Several ports for service, sensors and future features are available in front and back of the Submerged Unit.
A strong cable and solid cable grip are vital for handling and safety.
Laser
A laser pulse strikes individual parasites that dwell on the skin of fish while the fish swim unharmed in the pen. Stingray lasers are operational 24/7, shooting up to five pulses per second to remove sea lice.
